I would recommend Hillsborough as a good away day!

The stadium itself is very easy to find if you are coming from the northerly route. You can buy an all day ticket onboard (they actually have conductors) for the Supertrams which works out cheaper than buying two single tickets. and five minutes walk from that stop, by Kelham Island Museum (Alma Street) are the Fat Cat and Kelham Island Tavern, both jammed with real ale, and CAMRA Award winning pubs. The two-tiered South Stand on one side of the ground is the largest of the stands and is superb looking. I certainly thought we gained a good away point with Wednesday dropping two points.It was my first time to Hillsborough so I was interested to see this historic place. The team dugouts and Directors Box are located on this side.At one end is the Spion Kop. We had a few good chances, but nothing more. When we got to the away end (the West End) it looked very outdated and looked like it needed doing up.
